ls, professionalism, and just all around presence at our wedding, they were a whole vibe!! The speed that they would move between rooms, get people mic’d up when needed, and always got the perfect shot was just uncanny! When I tell you that the second they introduced themselves and were ready to start rolling they were already a part of the group and made everyone feel extremely comfortable, they were a blast to work with! They worked incredibly well with all of the other vendors, whom they had never met before, especially working so closely with our photographer. They all worked together to get us the absolute best shots and we could not be more grateful! I received my highlight video, and I cannot stop watching it! It was everything I could have asked for and more! Every moment was beautifully captured and I can’t imagine having chosen anyone other than Shutter and Sound as our videographer!

e we didn't actually meet ours until our wedding, but it didn't really matter; our point of contact person, Julian, was super responsive and helpful. We've only seen the IG edit so far, but it came out so, so good. Truly fits us and the day and we'll cherish it forever. Very pleased with our experience and we highly recommend!

deos, with cinematic and emotional storytelling are true masterpieces. Our videographers were kind, patient, and easy to work with, seamlessly capturing the day's emotions. We wanted more than just a recording—we wanted our wedding video to tell the story of our day, evoke emotions, and make us feel the love all over again. The final video is a timeless keepsake, beautifully conveys our day, moving us and our loved ones to tears. Surprisingly, we received the video sooner than expected! However, one small critique remains: we never got the opportunity to personally connect with the lead and assistant shooter before our wedding day. All communications had to go through the coordinator, making the first meeting on the wedding morning feel a bit abrupt. Establishing a connection with them beforehand would have been a nice touch.

ng. I have watched the video so many times already and every time I see it I tear up and my husband does as well. Both shooters showed up on time or early, got plenty of getting ready shots and stayed well into dancing. The highlight video is absolutely beautiful and I didn't have any issues with this company at all. From time of booking through the end, Julian was very attentive and helpful through the process and never hesitated to answer any of my many questions. Highly recommend!

a shy it took some convincing to have a videographer and I am so glad I did! The videographer ended up coming as a gift from my FIL but the team made sure to consult us each step of the planning process. Shutter & Sounds’ Boston team beautifully captured our perfect day. Their cues were delightful, and they never once made us (especially hubby) feel forced or uncomfortable. We love our highlight and cannot wait to receive our whole package in a few months.

D-19. Their communication was always prompt, professional and friendly, and they did a great job guiding us through the planning process. We chose "The Feature" package, and it was SO worth it! They asked us to choose our video song before the wedding, so they could tailor their coverage to the mood and tone of what music we picked. We received an incredible video that captured every special moment, and it filled our hearts with joy to relive our day again. It's always nerve-wracking to be on camera, but they made us look amazing. We loved so many of the shots from the video that we pulled multiple stills and saved them as photos! On the day of my wedding, Adam and our other videographer professional and unobtrusive - I often didn't even notice they were rolling, and was thrilled with all the little moments they captured and edited into our video. Would highly recommend Shutter & Sound to any couple looking for a videographer!

It really is the most stunning representation of our wedding day and I cannot thank them enough. I have received so many compliments on this video since it has been posted and it really is something that I could watch a million times and never get sick of. Both videographers that came to the hotel and venue were extremely nice, professional and punctual. They were both dressed so well, were very clean and neat - I feel like this is something a lot of people look past, so I need to give credit where it’s due! There were a handful of vendors we had that looked sloppy and underdressed for a wedding, but I was so thankful that the videographers from Shutter & Sound were not in this mix! I would truly recommend them to anyone and cannot thank them enough for such a stress free experience.

He made sure to also grab us after speeches for a quick moment for just my husband and I and those are some of our favorite shots. Somehow when the video comes together it looks and feels like an absolute fairy-tale - capturing every vibe, moment, etc perfectly to the track of our choice. People are still talking about our video and we constantly get asked about it - my friends said they feel like they were in a movie! Throughout the booking process Quinn was excellent to work with and extremely helpful answering all of our questions. On the actual wedding day Mike and Phil were top notch. They worked very well with our photographer and blended in seamlessly. Our faith was rewarded in just about a week when the Shutter and Sound team sent us our completed video when we were still on our honeymoon. It was amazing and we look forward to watching it a thousand times. Our families are crying all over again.

ends. It's exactly what they wanted. And during the wedding, they were fun to hang out with, unobtrusive at the right moments, had great ideas of cool shots to get, and got everything we wanted. Fantastic! We will say.... we found Shutter and Sound somewhat difficult to deal with in advance of the wedding and almost didn't use them. Every marginal thing for Shutter and Sound has an itemized marginal cost. With our photographers at another company, when we talked through the process in advance, they would have ideas, we would have ideas, and we had a great collaborative conversation about how to make it work. With Shutter and Sound, all their suggestions also come with "and that will cost you $X extra." So costs quickly add up beyond the base package. We aren't saying don't use them -- quite the opposite, the end product is amazing -- but be warned that it will feel like you're being nickle-and-dimed to a higher price than you expected. This was the only vendor we worked with for our wedding where we felt like we needed to be focused on negotiating contractual terms and ensuring the contract precisely specified exactly what was agreed to. We understand their position and that the wedding industry is a business, but it's just a very different vibe from every other vendor in the industry that we worked with. Again, the final product was fantastic and the specific videographers (Matt & Matt) that we worked with were fantastic.

nd seamless. They truly have this down to a science. The day-of team were fantastic!! I worked with Michael and a team member in Groton, MA. He got the fun shots of the girls and the guys getting ready, the romantic moments during our first look, emotional moments during the ceremony, and all the fun times during the reception. I gave ZERO direction because I really just wanted to soak the whole day in which after the fact I was a bit nervous- I barely said anything to Michael once things started picking up! I cared about the details that I worked so hard to pull together. Once I got the Instagram highlight (which I totally recommend the upgrade if you can!!) I instantly realized I truly didn't have to. The videos we got after our day were spot-on. The edits were amazing. They really read the whole vibe of the day. Now I'm glad I got to spend time with family and friends instead of directing everyone- it was all seamless. Highly recommend!!!

After receiving my video less than a month after our wedding (which is AMAZING) I have lost count on the times I have a watched and been blown away by the people that have told me it made them cry, laugh, and smile. Fantastic job!

Boston, I was nervous finding out that this group was based in LA. But, all of that went out the window when we began coordinating with Quinn. Quinn was knowledgeable, quick to offer suggestions, and provided us with our videographers contact information prior to booking so we could become comfortable with him. When it came time for the big day, Shutter and Sound arrived early, had no issues running between our hotel and the venue, and stood behind the scenes (not in anyone’s way). About a week later, Quinn emailed with our 8 minute video. The quality of the film was amazing. The first half of the video was the sound of myself and my husband reading our letter with footage of us getting ready and of the ceremony. The second half was upbeat, showing our Baraat, Ceremony, entrance, first dance, as well as other snippets from the day. Shutter and Sound were great to work with and I would highly recommend investing in them, you will not be disappointed.

The multi camera edit was amazing also, so we were able to re-live all of the speeches, our first dance, and our ceremony (which i barely remembered since it was such an overwhelming day, I am happy to be able to have it on video). They both arrived early, looked professional, and were ready to get to work. Austen and his second shooter were creative with their angles, perfected lighting and colors, and knew how to beautifully capture the moment without interfering. They made us, our family, and honored guests feel comfortable and most importantly, free to be ourselves. We appreciated how they worked collaboratively with our photographers under our strict time constraints, especially since they both needed to get their necessary shots. Our short highlight video was ready in just 7 days after our wedding. We were impressed, to say the least, with the quick turnaround time but also with the professional quality of the video. Austen and his team were generous with their time, even allowing us to make changes to our finalized product. After a few weeks, we received our highlight video, our multi-cam edit, and the raw footage in a convenient external hard drive. We will be sure to replay them for years to come as we reminisce on our wonderful day. We could not be happier with the Shutter and Sound Films SF team and we, along with my professional photographer brother, will be highly recommending them to our engaged family and friends.

o personable and great to have with you for 8+ hours!! It was less than 20 degrees the day of our wedding and our first look was outside. Eric made sure to get every shot he needed as quickly as possible without losing any quality. He didn’t waste any time planning his next shot or what he wanted us to do. He knew exactly what he was doing the entire time. Kylee, the Scheduling Manager, helped with all the “paperwork” and answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. She was so quick to respond to my emails that it was like we were having a real-time conversation! One thing I really liked was how we paid. It was through an electronic debit from your checking account and you could pay as much as you wanted, anytime you wanted, as long as it was completely paid off by the due date. With all the vendors needing final payments around the same time and mostly all requesting these payments via check, it was great to have the option to make instantaneous payments throughout the months on our own schedule. We received our highlight video literally FIVE DAYS after the wedding. How fast is that?! The video is absolutely perfect and we are continuously receiving compliments on it. We can’t stop watching it ourselves! The rest of our package will be delivered in the upcoming weeks, but I am so glad we already have the highlight. I love that Shutter and Sound allows you to purchase all the raw footage from the day. I know I missed out on so much and I’m excited to be able to catch some of it! This is in addition to the ceremony and speeches, which I also can’t wait to watch. So happy we’ll be able to have all of this for the rest of our lives—and this is coming from a couple who originally decided NOT to have a videographer. Cody was our videographer and he was nothing short of incredible. He was so lovely to work with and made the planning process a breeze. He was amazing on the day of the wedding and made the process so fun. We just received our highlight video yesterday (just two weeks after the wedding!) and we are so obsessed.
